Three Rivers has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will venture away from home to square off against the Refugio Bobcats at 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Three Rivers lost 3-0 to Freer on Friday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Buckaroos recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Refugio suffered their biggest loss since October 30, 2023 on Friday. They came up short against Agua Dulce, falling 3-0.

While Refugio was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 29-27, 25-16.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jazaelynne Lewis, who had 18 digs, seven kills, and a block. She is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had six or more in the last six games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bradi Fox-Smith, who had 15 digs, two kills, two aces, and a block.

Three Rivers' defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Refugio, their loss dropped their record down to 17-11.
