Volleyball Recap: Mayde Creek Rams vs. Tompkins Falcons

Mayde Creek came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Tompkins Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Mayde Creek took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-16, 25-19.

Isabella Gomez paced Mayde Creek's offense, picking up 11 kills. Gomez got some help from Autumn Wimberely and her 16 assists. Gomez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
