Basketball Recap: St. John's Comes Up Short

St. John was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 68-28 loss at the hands of the Military Magnet Academy Eagles. The Islanders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-18.

St. John's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Military Magnet Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John's will challenge Branchville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Military Magnet Academy, they will square off against Lowcountry Leadership at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
