Football Game Recap: Lakeside vs. Rosepine

Rosepine won the last time they met up with Lakeside, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Everything went Rosepine's way against Lakeside on Friday as they made off with a 45-12 victory. Followers of Rosepine probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.

Rosepine's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 16 points in the first half. Lakeside came up with 6 to make it 16-6 heading into the break. The other side of the ball was dominant for Rosepine in the second half, holding Lakeside to a measly 6 points. The win bumped Rosepine's record up to 4-0. The loss dropped Lakeside's record to 3-1.

Next week Rosepine take on North Central at 7:00 PM. North Central took a loss in their last matchup and are no doubt out to reverse Rosepine's good fortune. Lakeside will look to defend their home turf against Block at 7:00 PM. Lakeside have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Block are surely hoping to exploit.
