West Rusk hadn't done well against White Oak recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The West Rusk Raiders snuck past the White Oak Roughnecks with a 44-40 win. This was a revenge game for the Raiders: when they faced off against the Roughnecks back in January, they had to take a 41-39 loss.

When it comes to explaining why White Oak lost, don't look at Bella Baker. Despite the final result, she went 6-for-11 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points and three steals. That's the most points Baker has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Thompson, who put up two points and five steals.

West Rusk's victory bumped their record up to 7-16. As for White Oak, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 19 of their last 21 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-24 record this season.

As of now, neither West Rusk nor White Oak have any future games scheduled.
