Grace Academy proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 12) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the BVCHEA HomeSchool Mustangs 8-6. The victory was nothing new for Grace Academy as they're now sitting on five straight.

Hunter Maxwell was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Will Yassa, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double.

Grace Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .615. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .421 or higher in three consecutive games.

Grace Academy now has a winning record of 9-8-1. As for BVCHEA HomeSchool, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-11-2 record this season.

Grace Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 19-3 loss against New Braunfels Thunder on the 25th. As for BVCHEA HomeSchool, they have also already played their next game, a 6-1 defeat against Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy on the 25th.
