Farragut barely beat Powell the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Admirals put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 8-2 win on Saturday. Considering the Admirals have won 13 matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Farragut has been performing well recently as they've won 16 of their last 21 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Powell, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Farragut beat the Panthers by a score of 8-2 later that day.
