Baseball Game Preview: Regents Lions vs. Grace Christian Warriors

The Regents Lions will take on the Grace Christian Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Regents has given up an average of 8.2 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Things were looking good for Regents after they put the first points on the board on Thursday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They lost 16-6 to Charlottesville.

Joseph Porter was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. David Shonka was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Grace Christian put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on United Christian Academy with a sharp 8-1 victory.

Regents' loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Grace Christian, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
