Volleyball Recap: Tri-County Comes Up Short

Tri-County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Amherst Falcons.

Amherst found their leader in sophomore Leah Kisting, who had 13 digs and two aces. Those 13 digs set a new season-high mark for Kisting.

Tri-County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Amherst, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

Tri-County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Gresham Community on the 6th. As for Amherst, they will challenge Manawa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Falcons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
