Baseball Recap: Meridian Takes a Loss

Meridian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 14-2 to the Timberline Wolves. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Meridian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Boydston, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Timberline, their win bumped their record up to 4-10.

Meridian has already played their next game, a 15-2 loss against Boise on the 10th. As for Timberline, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-2 defeat against Middleton on the 10th.
