Basketball Game Preview: King's Ridge Christian Tigers vs. Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots

The King's Ridge Christian Tigers will challenge the Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

King's Ridge Christian played against Walker and lost via forfeit.

Mount Pisgah Christian is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 14th straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They took a hard 68-52 fall against Paideia. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 489th, while the Pythons are ranked 174th).

Mount Pisgah Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for King's Ridge Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.

King's Ridge Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Mount Pisgah Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 91-82. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Mount Pisgah Christian's O'Neill Connolly, who posted 25 points and seven rebounds.
