Volleyball Recap: Pomona Takes a Loss

Pomona lost against Edgewood back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Red Devils came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Pomona was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly two points. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23, 25-23.

Pomona's record is now 3-12. As for Edgewood, their victory ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pomona will take on rival Ganesha at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Edgewood is set to challenge their familiar foe La Puente at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
