Southern came into Monday's matchup looking for another win against Severn Run, but Kenneth Lipscomb wouldn't allow it. The Wolves snuck past the Bulldogs with a 58-54 win on Monday thanks in part to Lipscomb, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten assists. The game was his fifth in a row with at least 16 points.

Another player making a difference was Ricco Gough, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 57% in the last three games he's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Severn Run and bumps their season record up to 11-8. As for Southern, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-6.

Coming up, Severn Run won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Annapolis at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62.6 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Southern, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Chesapeake at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
