Volleyball Game Preview: Mehlville Panthers vs. Parkway North Vikings

The Mehlville Panthers will face off against the Parkway North Vikings at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Wednesday, Mehlville made easy work of Fox and carried off a 3-0 victory.

One reason for the win was Mehlville's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 25-13.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Parkway North, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Ritenour 3-0 on Thursday. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Parkway North was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-6, 25-15.

Parkway North's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Mehlville, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.
