Maypearl is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Friday. They took a 69-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Grandview.

Meanwhile, Coolidge didn't have quite enough to beat Slocum on Friday and fell 57-54.

Coolidge's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 10-14. As for Maypearl, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.
