Flag Football Game Preview: LaFayette Ramblers vs. Dawson County Tigers

For the first time this season, LaFayette will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Dawson County Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

LaFayette's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 21-0 margin over Cedartown. The Ramblers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Prezleigh Baty looked great while leading her team to the win, rushing for 81 yards and one TD, while also throwing for 65 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Dawson County duked it out with Gilmer on Thursday. The Tigers snuck past the Bobcats with a 25-20 win.

LaFayette's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Dawson County, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
