Katzenbach School for the Deaf had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Marie Philip Galloping Ghosts, sneaking past 2-1.

Marie Philip is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7-1.

Katzenbach School for the Deaf does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marie Philip, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Lexington School for the Deaf on the 4th.
