After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pike Road, Stanhope Elmore was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 47-26 margin over the Rehobeth Rebels. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won four contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

Stanhope Elmore didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Joidaden Carter-Stone. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 19.

Stanhope Elmore's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.8 points over those games. As for Rehobeth, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
