Volleyball Recap: Rogue River Comes Up Short

Rogue River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Illinois Valley Cougars, falling 3-0. If the Chieftains were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Cougars when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rogue River's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Illinois Valley, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rogue River will take on Yoncalla at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Illinois Valley, they will face off against Brookings-Harbor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
