Baseball Recap: Mcgregor Drops Season-High Score on Ogilvie

McGregor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ogilvie Lions. On the bright side, the seven- run performance marked the Mercuries' highest-scoring game to date.

McGregor's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Ogilvie, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.

McGregor wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-1 defeat against Pine River-Backus on the 6th. As for Ogilvie, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-2 win against Hinckley-Finlayson on the 6th.
