East Bay has gone a perfect 6-0 against Blake recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The East Bay Indians will head out on the road to square off against the Blake Yellow Jackets at 11:00 a.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses apiece dating back to last season.

East Bay came up short against Steinbrenner on Thursday, falling 14-1.

East Bay got a good showing from Mike Mowell, who pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits.

At the plate, East Bay saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Gavigan, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Gavigan's stolen this season.

Blake might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-1 to Robinson, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Blake's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for East Bay, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-4.

East Bay skirted past Blake 8-7 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for East Bay since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
