West Creek got their first taste of in-conference action on Thursday and they started things off strong. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Kenwood Knights. That's more bragging rights for West Creek, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Caitlyn Mercado and Aaliyah Godfrey scored all three of West Creek's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

The victory made it two in a row for West Creek and bumps their season record up to 2-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those two matchups. As for Kenwood, they dropped their record down to 4-7 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coming up, West Creek will head out to square off against Trigg County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kenwood, they will be playing at home against Northwest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
