Soccer Game Preview: Trinity Prep vs. Geneva

Trinity Prep and Geneva are an even 3-3 against one another since November of 2016, but likely not for long. The Trinity Prep Saints will challenge the Geneva Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Trinity Prep is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Windermere Prep on Thursday. They came up short against the Lakers, falling 6-0. The Saints have struggled against the Lakers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Geneva entered their tilt with Circle Christian on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They never let the Centurions onto the board and left with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won four matches by eight goals or more so far this season.

Geneva pushed their record up to 8-1-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. As for Trinity Prep, they now have a losing record at 4-5-2.
