Basketball Game Preview: Woodburn Bulldogs vs. Silverton Foxes

Woodburn is 0-10 against Silverton since October of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Woodburn Bulldogs will face off against the Silverton Foxes at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Woodburn is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Dallas by a score of 53-40.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Silverton). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 71-21 victory over McKay. Winning may never get old, but the Foxes sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Silverton's win was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points over those games. As for Woodburn, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.

Woodburn was dealt a bruising 57-18 loss at the hands of Silverton in their previous meeting back in January. Can Woodburn avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
