Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carson). They were the clear victors by an 18-1 margin over the Gardena Panthers on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-1 last Wednesday.

Andruw Jacques looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

As for Gardena, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Carson has already played their next matchup, a 13-2 win against Taft on the 5th. As for Gardena, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 22-10 defeat against Arleta on the 5th.
