Basketball Recap: Stringtown Comes Up Short

Stringtown was the 68-54 winner over Stonewall when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Stringtown Tigers took a blow against the Stonewall Longhorns on Tuesday, falling 83-32. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Stringtown has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Stonewall, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stringtown will take on Tushka in a holiday battle at 8:00 p.m. on December 19th at. Stringtown is facing Tushka at the right time seeing as Tushka is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Stonewall, they will take on Stratford at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
