Baseball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

After flying high against Big Foot on Tuesday, Jefferson came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Edgerton Crimson Tide by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crimson Tide apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Jefferson's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 4-3. As for Edgerton, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Jefferson beat the Crimson Tide by a score of 8-3 later that day.
