Volleyball Recap: Washington Township Victorious

Washington Township proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the South Central Satellites 3-2. That's more bragging rights for the Senators, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Washington Township took South Central into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-17, 25-18, 20-25, 15-8.

Among those leading the charge was Porter Scott, who had 14 digs and three aces. Those 14 digs gave him a new career-high.

Washington Township's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for South Central, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Washington Township will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Boone Grove at 6:30 p.m. The Wolves will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Senators surely won't give up without a fight. As for South Central, they will welcome Kouts at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
