After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Valparaiso, Hobart was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over the Highland Trojans. This was a revenge game for the Brickies: when they faced off against the Trojans back in April, they had to take a 14-8 loss.

Aurora Ciesielski made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Ciesielski was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, Hobart got a massive performance out of Ladan Weinman, who went 2-for-5 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI Weinman has posted since back in May of 2024. Nora Hornak was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

As for Highland, they will head out to challenge Kankakee Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Kougars have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
