Basketball Recap: Lake View Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Lake View was the 50-38 winner over North Lawndale when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Lake View Wildcats fell to the North Lawndale Phoenix 32-28.

Despite the loss, Lake View still got an impressive performance from Jada Marrero, who posted 19 points.

Lake View's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-7. As for North Lawndale, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake View won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Francis W. Parker at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Lawndale has already played their next contest (against North Grand), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
