It was a proper cat-fight when Arcadia Valley challenged Kingston on Tuesday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12, 25-17.

Hattie Vinyard paced Arcadia Valley's offense, picking up nine kills. Vinyard got some help from Annabelle Adams and her 27 assists. Vinyard was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Arcadia Valley is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season. As for Kingston, they dropped their record down to 1-14 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Arcadia Valley will head out to take on Bismarck at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kingston, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Valle Catholic at 7:00 p.m.
