Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Edison). They walked away with a 14-10 victory over the Upper Sandusky Rams on Friday. That's two games straight that the Chargers have won by exactly four runs.

The win (which was Edison's third in a row) raised their record to 11-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Upper Sandusky, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2.

Edison and Upper Sandusky should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Chargers will square off against Huron at 4:45 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (75 vs. 222). The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Edison 2.4, the Tigers 3) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Upper Sandusky (ranked 86th) will meet Seneca East (ranked 344th) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
