Baseball Recap: Marion Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Marion's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 1-0 to the Greene County Tech Golden Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Patriots just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Marion's loss dropped their record down to 13-17. As for Greene County Tech, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 22-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Golden Eagles beat Marion by a score of 10-8 later that day.
