Carson Paulik was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off seven hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
