            Baseball Recap: Vacaville Bulldogs vs. Del Campo Cougars        
        
		
        
        
            It may have taken  ten innings to finish the job, but Vacaville ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  7-6  victory over the Del Campo Cougars. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive  win against them.
 Dallas West looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched.

 At the plate,  Jimmy Mac Niven was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-5. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  hits (three).  Rome Griego was another key player,  going 3-for-5 with two  doubles and two  RBI.
The  victory  got Vacaville back to even at 1-1.
 Coming up, Vacaville will face off against McClatchy at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Del Campo, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Davis Sr.  at 3:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
