Baseball Recap: University Gets the Win

The University Trailblazers beat the Christian Educational Consortium Cougars 10-7 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trailblazers.

Hunter Canning looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Sterling Davis was incredible, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. That run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Charlie Ranek, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

University's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Christian Educational Consortium, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University will take on Cascade at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Christian Educational Consortium, they will venture away from home to square off against South Oldham at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
