Football Recap: T.C. Roberson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for T.C. Roberson's offense. They took a blow against the Watauga Pioneers on Friday, falling 42-0. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Pioneers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Cade Keller had a dynamite game For Watauga., throwing for 193 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes, and also rushing for 65 yards and one score. That's the most rushing yards Keller has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Matthew Leon, who rushed for 35 yards and a pair of TDs.

T.C. Roberson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Watauga, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. T.C. Roberson will welcome South Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Watauga, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mount Airy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
