Softball Recap: Beallsville Starts Season with Win at Home

Beallsville took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Bishop Rosecrans Bishops 21-20.

Beallsville got a massive performance out of Raegen Lucas, who scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jachelle Hill, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.

Looking ahead, Beallsville is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Madonna at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bishop Rosecrans, they will face off against Crooksville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Crooksville will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Bishop Rosecrans surely won't give up without a fight.
