Silsbee has gone 8-1 against Vidor recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Silsbee Tigers will square off against the Vidor Pirates at 6:30 p.m. Silsbee knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matchups -- so hopefully Vidor likes a good challenge.

That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Silsbee's points. Troy Rice was another key player, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Vidor had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They walked away with a 63-51 win over the Raiders. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 298th, while the Raiders are ranked 796th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Silsbee has been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 17 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points over those games. As for Vidor, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-9.

Everything came up roses for Silsbee against Vidor in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured an 84-50 win. In that contest, Silsbee amassed a halftime lead of 41-18, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
