Paramount's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lynwood Knights. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 20-25, 25-21.

Paramount has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Lynwood, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Paramount is set to challenge their familiar foe Firebaugh at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lynwood will take on rival Bellflower at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
