Basketball Recap: Empower College Prep's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sequoia Pathfinder Verrado Way, Empower College Prep was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 24-13 win over the Imagine Prep Coolidge Eagles. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wolf as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Empower College Prep's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Imagine Prep Coolidge, their defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Heritage Academy Gateway the next time they take the court. Imagine Prep Coolidge will host Heritage Academy Gateway at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Empower College Prep will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
