Baseball Recap: Tatnall Comes Up Short

Tatnall fell victim to Concord and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 14-0 to the Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 7-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Tatnall and nudges their season record down to 0-2-1. As for Concord, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Concord will challenge Newark at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Tatnall will be paying especially close attention to Concord's contest: after Concord faces off against Newark, they'll take on Tatnall again at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
