While Regis didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Bloomer Blackhawks on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Ramblers: when they faced off against the Blackhawks on Tuesday, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

Regis' win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Bloomer, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Regis will take on Independence/Gilmanton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Indees' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Ramblers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Bloomer, they will challenge Somerset at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Blackhawks 3.6, the Spartans 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
