Baseball Recap: Cascade Comes Up Short

Cascade fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Everett on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Seagulls by a score of 2-1. The Bruins haven't had much luck with the Seagulls recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Cascade saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Steven Wilson, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Cascade's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Everett, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cascade will square off against Jackson at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Everett, they will face off against Mount Vernon at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
