Hilo entered their tilt with Kealakehe on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Kealakehe Waveriders. For the Vikings, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Waveriders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Hilo's victory bumped their record up to 3-1-1. As for Kealakehe, they moved to 5-1 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Hilo will square off against Hawaii Prep at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Kealakehe, they will head out on the road to square off against Honoka'a at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Honoka'a will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each match than the last.
