Volleyball Recap: Corona Takes a Loss

Corona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Norco Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-14, 25-17.

Corona's defeat dropped their record down to 6-20. As for Norco, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Corona will take on rival King at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Norco is set to face off against their familiar foe Centennial at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
