Volleyball Recap: Stratton Comes Up Short

Stratton was the 2-0 winner over Hi-Plains when they last played one another on October 11th, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Patriots on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 25-15.

Stratton's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Hi-Plains, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5.

Stratton and Hi-Plains should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings. The Eagles (ranked 48th) will meet Briggsdale (ranked 209th) at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Hi-Plains will face off against Bethune at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (67 vs. 284).
