Basketball Game Preview: Albemarle School Colts vs. Ridgecroft Rams

Albemarle School is 2-8 against Ridgecroft since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Albemarle School Colts will be playing at home against the Ridgecroft Rams at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Friday, Albemarle School ended up a good deal behind Lawrence Academy and lost 51-33.

Meanwhile, Ridgecroft played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Lawrence Academy, falling 68-35. The Rams were down 54-25 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Albemarle School's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-6. As for Ridgecroft, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-3.

Albemarle School took their win against Ridgecroft when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 49-27. Will Albemarle School repeat their success, or does Ridgecroft have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
