Preview: Bishop McDevitt Crusaders vs. Dallas Mountaineers
Bishop McDevitt has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Dallas Mountaineers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop McDevitt's defense has only allowed 12.3 points per game this season, so Dallas' offense will have their work cut out for Dallas.
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bishop McDevitt had no problem doing just that on Friday. They snuck past the Barons with a 23-17 win.
Meanwhile, Dallas put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic 28-27.
Bishop McDevitt pushed their record up to 13-0 with that win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 38.87 points. As for Dallas, their win bumped their record up to 14-0.
