Chase Sarber put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Friday. He struck out four batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. He has become a key player for Smithsburg: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most three hits, but 8-9 otherwise.

Coming up, Sarber and Smithsburg will head out on the road to challenge Martinsburg at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
